What’s Cooking? – Liverpool

The wind was howling and the rain horizontal so it was a no-brainer but to head for the nearest restaurant to my hotel. Step forward What’s Cooking. It’s the second time I’ve used this restaurant and I was not disappointed. Cheery staff, varied menu, food cooked well and even burgers with a twist. My colleague loved his baby back ribs with hickory BBQ sauce and chips. You could have a baked potato or salad. I plumped for a Billy Boy burger. It included grilled goats cheese, roasted red pepper and caramelised onions serviced with chips or baked potato was packed with flavour. Couldn’t fault it and the restaurant has free wi-fi and has choices for gluten free or lactose intolerant clients. It says it is a partner of LFC. Don’t therefore know how many Everton fans will cross the threshold but I’ll be back.
