This cosy, community pub and restaurant has been an attraction for locals in the south-west of Edinburgh for years and it is easy to see why. A selection of well-kept real ales, including Caledonian, Morland and Inveralmond, is on tap. It also boasts a popular Chinese beer plus several lager standards. What’s more, The Grey Horse features regular live music, a roaring log fire and welcoming landlords, Paul and Jane, who have looked after the watering hole for the last six years. The wateringhole is regularly featured in CAMERA’s Good Beer Guide and one of the first Burns Club’s in Scotland was established within its walls. So, why not pop in for a pint, you’ll not be disappointed. PS: He’s an FSB member.
